What is it?

Cholesterol is a fatty substance found in your blood, and although we have been conditioned to think of it as being harmful, cholesterol is actually there to help you.

Cholesterol comes from two places:

  • some are made naturally by your liver
  • some come from the food you eat.

Without getting too technical, it is important to know there are two types:

HDL cholesterol (‘good cholesterol’)

LDL cholesterol (‘bad cholesterol’)

Cholesterol is needed for your body to operate correctly. It is used to develop cells and hormones and to process and digest fats. However, if the amount of cholesterol in the blood gets too high, it can profoundly cause a heart attack or stroke.

Why me

When your body becomes over-acidic, there are too many acids for it to dispose of through urination, perspiration, defecation, and respiration; the body is then forced to go into preservation mode.

It starts to release cholesterol for the liver to defend those acids in an attempt to protect itself from their toxic effects.

Simply put, as your acid level increases, so does your cholesterol!!!

What are the causes and changes you can make!

I want to point out that high cholesterol isn’t the cholesterol that causes heart attacks or strokes; it is your diet, environmental and metabolic acids that do!!

You can start to reduce your acid levels by reducing:

  • An overabundance of saturated fats, including red meat, butter, cream, and other dairies.
  • To much alcohol
  • Smoking
  • Limited activities in your day.
  • Bottled acidic water, sodas, sports drinks, and coconut water

Please note: In some cases, hereditary factors can contribute to high cholesterol.

The good news.

In this modern world, we have been trained to avoid cholesterol at all costs by lowing cholesterol with pharmaceutical drugs. However, without lowering your exposure to acids, it is a recipe for disaster!!!

Introducing a balanced pH diet and Antioxidant-Rich Water into your life will naturally lower your cholesterol.

Your body won’t have to carry out the almighty task to protect itself against the acids. You can then begin to live your life to the fullest.
